Under the able guidance and vision of Dr. M. K. Kamaludeen Haji this school was founded during the academic year 1983-84.Now it has completed its 30 years of excellent service. It is managed by the Manarul Huda Trust. The chairman of the Trust is Dr.Kamaludeen Haji.In the beginning it was an English Medium Residential School. Apart from our school a number of other well established institutions are also run by the Manarul Huda Trust in Kerala, TamilNadu and abroad.
The Manarul Huda Higher Secondary school is the first institution started by the Trust. Before starting this school better educational facilities were not available in this rural area.Realising this truth our Honorable Chairman took the initiative to up lift the youngest to higher levels of learning by imparting quality education. Now his vision has come true. We can now see hundreds of former students occupying better position all over Kerala and abroad.
From 1983 onwards our school progressed gradually and in 2002 it was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School. Now there are 700 students,50 teachers and 20 non teaching staff in this school.
Now the school is headed by Sri.Thamim-ul-Ansari, Principal assisted by Mr.Krishnan Kutty Chettiar, Head master, Mrs.Basheera Beevi, Vice Principal and Mr.Asharaf, Administrative officer.
The most remarkable thing about our school is that fully qualified and well experienced teachers are handling the classes. As a result we have been able to secure 100% result in the SSLC exam every year. To improve the quality of teaching special training is given to all teachers during vacation by the management. The classes for 10th and 12th are started by the beginning of May every year.
The Management conducts school inspection twice in a year by experts. The experts evaluate the performance of teachers and guide them properly; we have all the required infrastructure facilities such as building, playground, furniture, laboratory, computer lab and audio visual room for the smooth functioning of the school.
This year 101 candidates appear for the SSLC exam and about 100 candidates for the Higher Secondary exam. We hope that all of them bring laurels to our school.
